Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Washington’s My Health My Data Act gives you rights over your health data. This policy covers the health data Capacity Training collects, where it comes from, who receives it, and how to use your rights.
Health data we collect and why
Capacity Training collects health data to provide the training you ask for: to build your program, adjust it as you train, keep your training log, and let Mike coach you. If you allow Mike’s AI assistants, they also read it to help Mike coach you. We use it for nothing else.
- Body measurements: your height, bodyweight, and max heart rate.
- Workouts: the workouts you log, with effort ratings and, when recorded, heart rate, distances, and times.
- Check-ins: your answers about sleep, stress, and soreness, and any pain, injury, or illness you report.
- Apple Health or Health Connect, only if you turn it on: your workouts, heart rate, and walking, running, and cycling distances.
- What you write: anything about your health you tell Mike in Messages or post in Community.
Where it comes from
- From you, in setup, Settings, check-ins, workout logs, Messages with Mike, and Community.
- From Apple Health or Health Connect, only if you connect it. They get it from your phone, watch, or other connected devices.
Who receives it
We never sell your health data, and we don’t share it with third parties or affiliates. Mike, as your coach, can see it.
Service providers that run Capacity Training for us receive it only to provide their service to us: Replit, Neon, and Google Cloud host the server, database, and files; Backblaze stores encrypted backups; Resend delivers emails, including your setup summary to Mike; Google Workspace handles our support email; Apple’s push service delivers message and Community notifications; and Anthropic’s Claude and OpenAI’s ChatGPT run Mike’s AI assistants, only after you tap Allow on a permission that names the provider.
If you share a workout in a Community post, other members see what the post shows, which can include heart rate. That happens only when you post it. PRs you add to your Community profile are shown to other members the same way, only when you add them.
Your rights
- Know and see: ask whether we collect or share your health data, get a copy of it, and get a list of anyone we’ve shared it with.
- Withdraw consent: stop Apple Health or Health Connect access in your phone’s settings, turn off Mike’s AI assistants in Settings → Privacy, or stop collection entirely by deleting your account.
- Delete: delete your account in Settings → Account → Delete Account, or ask us to delete your health data. Backup copies are erased within 30 days. The setup summary emailed to Mike stays in his email unless you ask us to delete it.
To use any of these rights, email support@capacitytraining.app from the email address on your Capacity Training account, so we know it’s you. We’ll answer within 45 days. If we need longer, we’ll tell you why and take at most 45 more days. Requests are free up to twice a year.
Appeals
If we turn down your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer. We’ll send our decision and the reasons in writing within 45 days. If we still turn it down, you can complain to the Washington State Attorney General at atg.wa.gov/file-complaint.
